# Umbra

> This guide is split into easy step-by-step sections for a smooth and successful setup.

  <Step title="Getting Started">
    ## Disable Windows Defender

      Antivirus often flags game cheats as suspicious because they inject code or modify games to enable features like aimbot or ESP. This is normal behavior for all cheat software - not a sign that Noble Cheats is unsafe.
    </Card>

    1. Open Windows Security
    2. Go to **Virus & threat protection** > **Manage settings**
    3. Turn off all protection settings:

    4. Go to **App & browser control** > **Exploit protection settings**
    5. Select **"off by default"** for each option

    6. Go to **App & browser control** > **Reputation-based protection settings**
    7. Turn off all options

    8. Go to **Device security** > **Core isolation**
    9. Turn off **Memory integrity**

    ### Using DControl

    If Windows Defender keeps re-enabling, use DControl:

    1. Download [WinRar](https://www.win-rar.com/download.html?\&L=0) and install it. *(Needed to extract archives)*
    2. Download [DControl](https://www.sordum.org/files/downloads.php?st-defender-control)
    3. Extract the .rar archive with password **"sordum"**
    4. Open DControl then press **"Disable Windows Defender"**

    ## Loading/Injecting

    1. Install and Run the cheat load
    2. Enter your key
    3. Open game once loader closes
    4. Once you're in game lobby press F2 and wait until menu appears (10-60 seconds)

    * Press **Insert** to open and close the menu

## Common Errors

    1. Download: [Cloudflare Warp](https://one.one.one.one/)
    2. Connect to Warp then try to launch the loader!

  <Accordion title="No Menu After Injection">
    If the menu does not appear after injection, please check the following:

    * Make sure you press F2 while being in the game lobby
    * You should hear a beep sound
    * The menu may appear after 30–60 seconds while staying in the lobby
    * Ensure your game is running in Borderless Windowed mode (Fullscreen is not supported) Make sure the following Windows protections are disabled:
    * Windows SmartScreen
    * UAC (User Account Control)
    * Windows Firewall
    * Ensure Driver Blocklist is disabled
    * Make sure you do not have any third‑party antivirus installed (Windows Defender excluded if properly configured)
    * Make sure FACEIT Anti-Cheat is not installed on your system

    Run both files, and then restart

  <Accordion title="Instant Crash on Game Launch">
    1. Install the latest GPU drivers: NVIDIA · AMD
    2. Open System → Display → Graphics and disable
       * Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling
       * Variable refresh rate
       * Optimizations for windowed games
    3. Run CMD as Administrator and paste this command: `Copy reg add "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Dwm" /v OverlayTestMode /t REG_DWORD /d 5 /f` <br />Restart your PC and try to inject again

    Run CMD as Administrator and paste this command: `Copy
            reg add "HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management" /v FeatureSettingsOverrideMask /t REG_DWORD /d 3 /f`

    Restart your PC and try to re-inject

    Press F2 fast in lobby — don't wait.

    If that dosnt work, Try a VPN.
